App Community Suite
Terms of use
Last updated: 22 August 2026
These terms govern the use of the app supplied to your association by App Community Suite, published by Wisepear. By using the app, you accept them.
1. What this service is
App Community Suite is a private app made available to an association for its internal life: news, events, conversations, gallery, shop and member management. It is not an open social network: its content is not public, apart from what the association explicitly chooses to publish on its site.
2. Entry is by invitation only
There is no open sign-up. Your account exists because your association invited you by email. A membership request made from the public site creates no account: it is submitted to the association, which decides.
The association decides who joins and who leaves. We neither add nor remove members on our own initiative.
3. Your account
You choose your password and you are responsible for it. Do not share it. Tell your association if you believe your account has been compromised.
You undertake to give an accurate identity: in an association, other members need to know who they are talking to.
4. What you post
You remain the owner of what you post. You grant the association the right to display that content in the app and — only for what it chooses to make public — on its site.
You warrant that you have the right to post what you post: that includes photographs showing other people, who must agree to it.
5. What is not allowed
- Harassment, insults, threats, hateful or discriminatory speech.
- Illegal content, or content posted without holding the rights to it.
- Impersonating another member.
- Collecting other members' data for use outside the association.
- Any attempt to bypass access permissions or to disrupt the service.
The association's officers may remove content and suspend an account. They act under their own rules, not ours.
6. Who does what
The association decides on content, members, house rules and what is made public. It is responsible for what happens in its app.
Wisepear provides and maintains the software, hosts the data and looks after technical security. We do not moderate content and do not arbitrate disputes between members — talk to your association.
7. Availability
We run the service seriously, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability: maintenance, a hosting failure or a network outage can make it temporarily unreachable.
Keep your own copy of what matters. An important photograph deserves to exist somewhere other than in a single app.
8. Ending access
You may ask your association to delete your account at any time. It may end your access if you do not comply with these terms or with its own rules.
What you posted may remain visible after you leave — a message in a conversation, a photo in an association album. Ask the association to remove it if you wish.
9. Ownership
The software, its name and its design belong to Wisepear. The association's name, logo and content belong to the association. Using the app gives you no rights over either.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by Portuguese law for associations established in Portugal, and by the law of the association's country of establishment otherwise. Your consumer rights are unaffected.
